The team of the laboratory “Interdisciplinary Research and Education on Technical and Economic Problems of Energy Transition”, consisting of Igor Vasilievich Ilyin, Head of the Laboratory, Anastasia Ivanovna Lyovina, Senior Researcher, and Alisa Sergeevna Dubgorn, Senior Researcher, participated in the national forum “Applied Artificial Intelligence: Solutions for Explosive Growth of Economic Development”. Alisa Sergeevna Dubgorn took part in the national forum “Applied Artificial Intelligence: Solutions for Explosive Growth of Economic Development. Future Today” held on June 4 on the margins of SPIEF.
The work of the forum was aimed at organizing an effective platform for complex interaction between solutions in the field of artificial intelligence and consumers in various industries. I.V. Ilyin made a report “AI in the oil and gas industry: research and applied development” within the section “Artificial Intelligence application practice. Oil and Gas", having told about the main actual directions of AI application in the industry, about the experience of interaction between the university and companies in training specialists and conducting joint research, and also separately dwelled on the megagrant realized in the laboratory.

As part of the implementation of the grant on the problems of energy transition, we were particularly interested to hear from representatives of leading Russian IT companies and representatives of the oil and gas industry about the possibilities of artificial intelligence, including in improving the energy efficiency of enterprises. Participation in the forum brought us many new acquaintances, which, I hope, will be 100% utilized in the development of scientific activities of my laboratory” - said Ilyin I.V..
